Halloween Creeps
I feel like such an idiot! Guess what I did last night!? I was driving home from work and I hit a garbage can with my rearview mirror on the passenger side! The glass broke completely out of the rearview and spilled onto the pavement. At that point I had no idea what to do! Was I supposed to just keep driving? Or stop and see if the garbage can was OK? I figured the garbage can had won the battle so I just kept driving! LOL! Jon had a good laugh when I got home and told him what I had done. Today it's my job to call around and see how much it's going to cost to get my stupidity fixed! I decided to start stamping to calm myself down. :) This is another card using Halloween images from Hambo Stamps. Monica has done it again with her funny sentiments! This sentiment seems especially true this year... where has the time gone!? All of a sudden it's Halloween and then Thanksgiving and then Christmas. Ahhhhh! I stamped the spider web in Basic Grey ink and the spiders in Basic Black. Each of the spiders is covered with Black Fun Flock. The patterned paper is Flocked Web and Flocked Dots from the Heidi Grace Jeepers Creepers Collection. The cool thing about these patterned papers is that they already come flocked! The spider webs and white polka dots are flocked. The ribbon is May Arts from Star Lit Studio. Thanks for stopping by today! I hope you all have a wonderful day!Labels: Card Creations, Hambo Stamps

Bummer about the collision with the trash can! But it's good that you can laugh about it! :)
This card is adorable. Flocking on the little spiders is such a great idea!!!
Thanks for the laugh! It's good you can laugh about your mishap - at least it wasn't a person! I got one for you, the first mishap I had was my neighbor across the street's truck! He parked it further down than usual & I was annoyed I had to drive my sister to work (who was 4 yrs older with no license) so I misjudged my turning and bam! I had to pay for the damages from my hard earned part-time job money! it was like $600!
Too bad about your "oops"! Check with your insurance agent - some companies (State Farm is one) treat the glass in your mirrors just like the glass in your window & there may not be a deductible. I'm sure it won't cost too much anyway, but I just thought I'd mention it.
sorry to hear about what happened! hope you get it all sorted out! that's a very cute card! love the sentiment! :)
Ok... so I am usually the one to do stuff like that... but a while ago my husband did! And we checked into the closest wrecking yard..... and it was only 30.00 for a replacement mirror. If your husband is handy, you can kind of pop it off from the inside... I wouldn't do it myself cuz it looked like the door was going to break.... but if you know anyone that can help it is only a 2 minute job, that a body shop will seriously overcharge for! Good luck!
sorry to hear of your accident, but i really like your spider web idea for today!
Very cute card Taylor!
Oh Taylor!!! Honey, there's a bright, bright side.... You didn't hit a 2nd grade teachers home mailbox with your SUV while your daughter is in 2nd grade. Of course, I am still wearing my badge of stupidity on the front right quarter panel. Hugs, girl!!
I feel your pain, a couple of years ago I hit our garage cabinet (that was slightly open) with my passenger side mirror on my Altima. We ordered a new one from Nissan and just recently installed it. I did nearly rip it off but luckily my hubby was able to screw it back on. You are not alone!!! By the way, I got my tape order today...thank you very much!

This is adorable, I love that background paper, love Heidi Grace.
I'm so sorry about your mishap! Your Halloween card is adorable anyhow.
O.K., confession time...I was once on my way to do a home party...My favorite song was playing on the radio...I pulled my truck out of the garage and went up on the hood of my DH's car. My kids were crying that I broke daddy's car. It was one of my finer moments :)! Love the card. The sentiment is the best! Happy Friday!
Ouch, sorry about your mirror! But it could have been worse...I hope your insurance will cover the repairs!!!
Your card is adorable! Love the "hairy" spiders! :)
Very cute card, love all those bugs and webs!
We've all had days like that! Don't let it bother you! Be thankful it wasn't a mailbox. Your card is adorable!
Love the card! Oh! And you've been tagged again!
I have done that exact same thing!!! Hit a garbage can trying to move over so someone else could pass by. Fortunately, only part of the mirror has fallen out, I still have 2/3rd's of the mirror so I'm okay for viewing the stuff behind me on the passenger side.
Love your card!
