Cupcake Challenge 9

Good morning! Happy Friday and Happy Cupcake Day! I am especially excited today because my sister (the older of my two younger sisters) is coming to Pasadena to go shoe shopping with me tonight! I love shoes and the weather has been so nice here that I'm in the mood to buy summery shoes! "They" say platforms and slingbacks in bright yellows and greens are the style of the season. I don't belong to the "they" that know what's in style so we'll see what I find. *grin* Speaking of bright and summery, I think this card fits the description. I used Bazzill Chip Toppers inside each square and embellished them with rhinestones and a flower punch in the top right. I don't know the manufacturer of the sentiment, but it fit perfectly in the space. The polka dots were stamped with Papertrey's Polka Dot Basics set. I have another sketch for you to try out this weekend! This time I'm offering a prize! One random entry will be selected to receive my new favorite tool... the Fiskars Fingertip Craft Knife. I use my craft knife a ton and I love the controlled cutting you get with the pencil-like grip of the fingertip craft knife. You're not required to use cupcakes for the challenge, but if you got 'em why not use 'em!? :) If you're uploading to Splitcoast use keyword TECC9 (for Taylored Expressions Cupcake Challenge 9). If you post on your blog, leave a link in the comments so I can check it out! I will announce the winner on Monday morning! Thanks for stopping by today! I hope you all have a wonderful weekend!

Hi! I'm new to this blogging business (and this is my first submission to one of your challenges), so not sure if I'm doing this right, but here's a link to the post on my blog: http://jentapler.blogspot.com/2008/03/taylors-cupcake-challenge-tecc9.html
I will post to SCS as well in case I didn't do that right!
I LOVE your blog - thanks so much for the inspiration!

Yay! This is my first Taylor challenge. I stumbled accross your site last night (I have no idea how) and I couldn't get that sketch out of my head. I really really like my card, but the picture doesn't do it justice. I'm still trying to figure out how to take a picture so that it shows the dimension. Thanks for a great challenge. You can find my card on my blog (www.danasdabblingstudio.blogspot.com) or on SCS using your keywords.

Thanks for this, it was such a happy card idea, I couldn't resist. Great idea.

I think I have it on SCS, but I'm new to it, so hopefully it "went" okay.
