Taylored Expressions Cupcake Challenge #21

Happy Friday and Happy Cupcake Day! I'm still a little sad today as the Papertrey announcement sinks in a bit more. As I said yesterday, I am truly excited for what lies ahead, but it's hard to let go of something that has been so fun and so rewarding. Thank you all for your encouraging comments and your support! I figured nothing could cheer me up more than a cupcake though... I certainly love hopping around and looking at all of your wonderful eye candy! I've found my recent sketches to be very linear... lots of straight lines. That's generally where my layouts tend to go so I decided to stretch myself and try something with a circle. I pulled out my Stampendous Tiers of Treats image for this sketch. It has been one of my long-time favorite cupcake images, but it somehow got buried amidst all of my newer stamps. I colored the image with 
Copic markers and highlighted the strawberries and cherries with Glossy Accents. The buttons are from my stash and the patterned paper is from My Mind's Eye. Your design and blog will be featured on my blog during Cupcake Friday. One random winner will also be selected from among all the participants to receive the fun Stampendous Pinwheel Parade acrylic set! You're not required to use cupcakes.jpg)

Gorgeous sketch - I loved it but I ended up flipping the sketch around as i stuck the semi-circle to the wrong part of the card - but I still love the result. thanks again for some great inspiration
