My Favorite Things Card Purse

I'm late today... story of my life lately, huh? What's that thing that Julie Ebersole always says? I'm so behind I can see my butt up ahead of me! If that's not quite it, you know what I mean! lol. Do you remember these cards that I made for an MFT class I'm teaching in September? Well, I needed to expand the class a little bit so I decided to create a purse for the cards to fit in. It would be the perfect little gift! I used the Scor Pal and a 12x12 piece of Prism cardstock to create the bag. I just love that tool! It makes boxes and bags such a cinch. The patterned paper is from the Cosmo Cricket Little Girls Collection and I used the My Favorite Things Bundles of Bouquets set. To attach the handle, I punched a small circle into the front and back of the bag. Then I inserted a strip of cardstock and attached a brad that is larger than the punched hole in order to keep the handle in place. I hope that made sense! The image is colored with Copic markers and covered with Crystal Stickles. The Caribbean satin ribbon is from Taylored Expressions. Hope you all have a great day (or night depending on when you're reading this!). Thanks for stopping by! Stay tuned on Friday for another Cupcake Challenge. I'm hoping to get another post up before then, but I can't make any promises until I catch up to my butt ahead of me! ;)

What a gorgeous set! I wish I was taking the class! By the way, the link for "these cards" will take you to a page showing the cool carribean ribbon instead of the cards. Thought you might want to know. Thanks for sharing!
