Taylored Expressions Cupcake Challenge #31
Happy Friday and Happy Cupcake Day! The sun is shining and I get to eat cupcakes this weekend so I'm one happy girl. Jon and I don't have any plans for Labor Day weekend... maybe we'll head to the beach for the first time this summer! Can you believe it? We haven't been to the beach all summer! Do you have any big plans for the holiday weekend? Hopefully your plans involve the cupcake sketch challenge! *wink* I grabbed my Cuppacakeabella for this sketch. She is colored with Copic markers and I added Crystal Stickles to the frosting. The cupcake lining is paper pieced with the KI Memories patterned paper. The sentiment is from Papertrey's Faux Ribbon set and the 5/8" Pomegranate grosgrain ribbon is from Taylored Expressions. Now let me introduce you to the Featured Cupcake Sampler this week. Nancy made this adorable cupcake card last week! I have long admired 
Nancy's sweet style. She made two of the cutest cupcake cards using this week's sketch. I love the red and brown color combination she used on this card, and you'll have to check out her blog: Paper Smiles to see the other cupcake card!
