Taylored Expressions Cupcake Challenge #43

Good morning! I've missed y'all the past couple of days. I had to take a break this week in order to get the next SASI stamp sets off to the manufacturer and prepare for the 12 days of Christmas feature that I'm starting on my blog tomorrow! Each day for the next 12 days I'll be featuring a Christmas card, gift, or decoration to prepare for the upcoming holiday season. I hope you'll all tune in! Today I have a "Look, Mom... no stamping!" card. My friend Latrice sent me these adorable DCWV glittery cupcake rubons, stickers, and patterned paper. So cute, huh!? Latrice picked up the same supplies for herself so we decided to make coordinating cards today. You can check out her cute card on her blog! Oops... you got me... I just realized that there is one bit of stamping on this card. I used the cupcake tray from the MFT What's Up Cupcake to display my cupcake. Other than that, it was all rubons and patterned paper and a touch of Cotton Candy velvet ribbon. I'm so excited to introduce you to the Featured Cupcake Sampler this week! No doubt you've all noticed the beautiful weekend sketch sets that Laura Fredrickson creates each week! They are absolutely gorgeous and I'm so excited that she was able to sample the sketch this week. Her beautiful card combines the best of elegant and rustic. You can check out all the details on this card and the rest of her beautiful creations on her blog: Scrapnextras. Thanks so much for sampling the sketch this week, Laura! Now it's your turn to to try the sketch! I'll choose the most clever, creative, and cute creation from the submissions this weekend to be the Featured Cupcake Sampler next week. Your design and blog will be featured on my blog during Cupcake Friday. You're not required to use cupcakes for the challenge, but if you got 'em why not use 'em!? You're welcome to create something other than a card, just stick as closely to the sketch as possible and you'll be eligible for the Featured Cupcake Sampler honors. If you're uploading to Splitcoast use keyword TECC43 (for Taylored Expressions Cupcake Challenge 43). Leave a comment on this post with a link to your blog post or gallery upload so I can check it out! You must have your cards uploaded by Monday, November 24th at 8am PST to be eligible for the featured cupcake sampler. If you're interested in more cupcakes today, stop by the SASI blog and check out Our Friday Friend this week. She's sharing her beautiful artwork and her favorite recipe... a simple tiramisu! You won't want to miss it! Also learn how you can become our next Friday Friend on the SASI blog! I can't wait to see what you come up with for the sketch and I hope you'll tune in right here tomorrow for The 12 Days of Christmas at Taylored Expressions! I hope you all have a wonderful weekend!

Don't forget to check out the wonderful inspiration from the Cupcake Crew this week!
