TESC107 Top Crops

Happy Monday! I hope you all had a wonderful weekend! It was a beautiful weekend here and we enjoyed a neighborhood party, reading books on the porch, and raking the lawn... have I mentioned lately that I love spring!? I've never been more excited to welcome a new season than I am this spring!

It's time to announce the Top Crops from TESC107! Thanks to everyone who participated! It's super fun to check out all of your cards, but here are the ones that caught my eye this week:

Just click on each Top Crops above and you'll be taken to the designer's blog to see the full card and all the details! Do you recognize your card as one of the Top Crops? If so, congratulations! You'll soon receive a Top Crop blog badge to display on your blog.

And there's still time to participate in this week's TESC108 challenge! You have until Friday, April 16th at 8am PST to play along. Check out the sketch here!

I also wanted to share something fun (but not stamping related) today! Last week I was able to take a cake decorating class with my sister in law! We had such fun piling buttercream frosting on our cakes and creating colored fondant accents. I have absolutely no experience with cake decorating so I was just happy to head home with an edible cake. And I think it turned out pretty cute and springy too!

Now if you've been tuning in here for long then you probably know about my two fur babies, Skitters and Morris. Well, it just so happens that Skitters was a fan of my cake too! We caught him eating some frosting from a plate that was left out on the table... apparently he knows how to help himself! And then about ten minutes after his frosting feast he was fast asleep on the staircase! I guess that sugar high didn't last too long! *grin* Thanks for stopping by today! Hope you all have a wonderful day!

Thank you soooooooo much for making my week (on a Monday already!) by selecting my card as a Top Crop! I guess I should make up with 'Machiney' seeing as he helped me make the card concerned LOL!
That cake looks scrummy too btw - no wonder Skitters helped himself!

This is so lovely for a 1st timer, Taylor! I used to make cakes (huge wedding cakes), and I know how much fun (and work) they are to make! Don't you hate cutting into a work of art, though? Cute kittie!

The photo of Skitters on the stairs looks almost like he is saying "Oh, why did I eat that cake ... I'm so full!"

You'd never know that it was your first attempt at cake decorating. Looks like it's yet another one of your talents.
