Taylored Expressions June Sneaks - Day 2

Hey there! We have a bunch more fun products to share with you on our second day of sneak peeks! And speaking of a 'bunch' I'll start off with this bunch of flowers that I made using the new Petal Pop Up dies:

I picked up these vases at a garage sale and thought they'd be perfect for the project I was envisioning. I started by cutting lots of flowers using Petal Pop Ups 1 & 2 and patterned paper from the Echo Park Paradise Beach and Dots & Stripes Soda Fountain collections. I layered my flowers together and added buttons, rhinestones, and brads to the flower centers to create the embellishments. Then I wrapped wire with green floral tape and glued the flowers onto to the wire so they'd be easy to shape into the arrangement I wanted. Don't have any vases like this? This project would also look super cute with Potion Bottles!

Here's a closeup of the Petal Pop Ups and a peek at the graphic of each of the dies that I used:

The Petal Pop-Ups dies cut the inner petals of each bloom while leaving the entire flower in one piece. Just pop the petals out for instant dimension!

Let's continue peddling on to my next project...

Eight years ago today I married the love of my life. Where have the years gone? I guess what they say is true... time flies when you're having fun! I've been blessed to spend my days with a kind, generous, and supportive man and I'm ready for whatever the future brings with Jon by my side. Sappy... I know, but it's true! If you're interested in reading the story of how we met and fell in love, you can find it here. And here's a look back at our wedding day... June 5th, 2004:

So I decided to make a little trinket memory box to store things like ticket stubs, letters, and cards that we've given each other through the years. I used the new Bikes & Trikes stamp set, paired with Echo Park Sweet Day patterned paper, to decorate the Perfect Package. Here's a closeup:

I also used the picket fence border die, Pinwheel Parade die, Spellbinders Labels 4 Grand Nestabilities, and Bumble Doodle Twine.

That's it for my sneak peeks today, but the rest of the Baker's Dozen girls have FABULOUS things to share. Check 'em out:

Happy Anniversary Taylor! We've got 32 years in this summer -- and I LOVE the sentiment about pedaling through life together! It's really, truly, perfect -- if one is tired, the other pedals a little bit more, it's always working together!

Happy Anniversary! Love how you used this image on your keepsake box and the cute dp you used. I must let you know though, I am disappointed there is a face book prize and not a blog hop prize. I think any prize is great but I cannot face book (too many mettling relative and co-workers, lol)......next time can you have it for both?
