Moka April - One of My Favorite Peeps

Good morning! I hope you're all enjoying a wonderful Wednesday! The weather is absolutely gorgeous again, but we're all on edge around here wondering if there might be one more snow this season. That would be such a giant step backwards after almost two weeks of 70+ degrees! All of this beautiful weather has put me in a sunshiny mood lately so I'm gonna focus on the flowers and not the possibility of snow. New products from CHA have been pouring in lately including some super cute springy patterned papers. I decided to grab the adorable Doodlebug Hello Spring 6x6 paper pad for my project today. Doodlebug just recently started making 6x6 pads and I LOVE THEM! I've always loved Doodlebug anyway, but these patterns are just so sweet and scaled down perfectly for cardmakers. I started by stamping Moka April in Memento Tuxedo Black ink and coloring her with Copics. I used the Brown Hair Color Kit and the Light Tone Skin Color kit along with BV01, BG53, R83, Y21, and E55 to color her basket, eggs, shoes, and headband. I cut the image out with Spellbinders Labels 4 and airbrushed inside the die line with Copic (Y21). The card base is one of Doodlebug's Create a Card designs so then all I had to do was add my patterned paper and pop up the sentiment and image panel with foam tape. Ooh... and I almost forgot the cutest little detail! I added a pink Making Memories Metal flower to her headband. I love how this turned out and I can't wait to get it off in the mail!

Thanks so much for stopping by today! I hope you all have a wonderful day!

Thankful for You

Good morning! I hope you all had a wonderful weekend. I meant to post yesterday, but the day got away from me... Monday is just one of those days! I have all weekend to prepare for what's coming on Monday, but somehow it never happens that way. I begin preparing on Monday morning after my Honey Nut Cheerios! I'm always in need of 'thank you' cards so I decided to create another one for my stash. I was drawn to the Thankful stamp set and while I know it has some images specific to fall & thanksgiving it also has several images and sentiments that are great for generic thank you cards. I used supplies from the March Key Ingredients kit on my project. There are still a few March kits remaining and five more days to subscribe and receive this super cute kit! OK... now for the details on my card. I started by stamping the image in Memento Rich Cocoa ink on Choice Buttercream cardstock. I colored the image with Copics and covered the apples with Glossy Accents. I cut the image out with Spellbinders Classic Circles and airbrushed the inner circle with Copic marker before layering it onto Spellbinders Blossom. All of the supplies are from the kit except for the Chocolate Pearls I lined up underneath the sentiment. That's about it for this card! Now I'm off to tackle Tuesday!

Thanks for stopping by today! I hope you all have a wonderful day!

SUPER Early Birthday Card!

Good morning & Happy Hump Day! OK... so I started this post in the morning, but then our power and internet went out so now it's officially afternoon. *grin* I can't believe it's Wednesday already...one day closer to Taco Bravo Thursday at Taco Johns! *wink* The weather has changed to rain and gloom this week, but all the rain has sent our trees and flowers into bloom. This is amazing for March and I LOVE IT! We've been getting tons of new stuff in the store lately and I've been feeling inspired to use it all! The new Simple Stories Happy Day 6x6 paper pad has been calling to me especially loudly so I decided to work ahead and make this card for my nephew's birthday this summer. For those of you who know me really well I hope you didn't fall out of your chair! Can you believe I am actually working that far ahead!? When I finished up the card I showed it to Jon for his approval and he said "57?". NO... it's just 7!! The way I cut and placed the patterned paper in the background makes it look like '57' but oh well. It's done now! I used Jen's Deconstructed Sketch #43 for the layout and the Make A Wish stamp set. I stamped the birthday cake image in Memento Rich Cocoa and colored it with Copics. The 'Make a Wish' sentiment is from one of the borders in the coordinating Borderlicious set. I added split pea rhinestones, gelly roll pen, and espresso pearls to the cake to jazz it up a bit without making it too girly. And then at the last minute I decided to personalize it by adding the banner and spelling out his name with the You're My Type Upper alphabet set. I stamped each letter in Versamark ink and embossed it with white embossing powder. I'm so excited with how it turned out and now I'm not sure if I can wait until summer to give it to him. LOL!

Thanks so much for stopping by today! I hope you all have a wonderful day!

Be Strong - I'm Here for You

Happy Monday! I hope you all had a fabulous weekend! I made this card for the TE Sketch Challenge on Friday and thought I'd share a little bit more about it today. I combined the sketch challenge with Lori's Hope You Can Cling To challenge on SCS to use pink bling on a card. The Hope You Can Cling To challenges are going on all month at Splitcoast (there's a new one posted every day!). It's a great opportunity to try a challenge and get involved in the fight against breast cancer by creating a card to send to the UT MD Anderson Cancer Center. I'll be sending this card along with a few others that I hope to create before the end of the month. It makes me happy to know that something I made might bring joy to someone fighting breast cancer. You can find out more about the challenges and the card drive HERE!

For my card I used the beautiful Moka Hope. And in case you missed our latest release, Moka Hope is one of our new October stamps and we'll be donating $1 for each set that is purchased to Susan G. Komen for the Cure! I started by stamping Hope in Memento Rich Cocoa and coloring her with Copics. I cut her out using Spellbinders Labels 17 and then added soft pink rhinestones and plum pearls to her scarf. I added more pearls and rhinestones along the side and stamped the 'Be Strong' sentiment randomly on the left. The patterned paper is from the My Mind's Eye Vanity Fair 6x6 pad.

Thanks so much for stopping by today! I hope you all have a wonderful day!

Build A Treat & A Birthday

Good morning (or I guess it's afternoon already)! I hope you're all enjoying a nice long weekend. It happens to be pouring rain here, so that means time indoors to stamp! Today someone very special is having her birthday! Nope... it's not our little girl yet. She's decided she's very happy staying where she's at right now. Today is Sankari's birthday! I'm sure you all know what a beautiful person Sankari is and I thought it'd be appropriate to wish her a happy birthday using the Build a Treat stamp set that she concepted. I paired the stamp set with patterned paper from the Doodlebug Cake & Ice Cream collection. The frosting was cut out with the Build a Treat Tops & Bottoms and the cherry is from the Tiny Toppers die set. I couldn't pass up the chance to use my Tiny Twinkles so I added a few around the image and one to each scallop at the bottom. I finished it off with a little ribbon and a Bow Easy bow.

Sankari, I hope you have a birthday that's just as sweet as you are! Sending lots of love to you and your family! Please eat some extra cupcakes for me... at least 2!

Circus Elephant Birthday

Good morning and Happy Hump Day! As I was stamping for sneak peeks last week I just couldn't put the Life is a Circus set away so you'll be seeing a lot of it over the next few weeks! I started with a Mojo Monday sketch and I guess I'm a bit behind... this one is from a few weeks ago, Mojo Monday 196. I just flipped the sketch to accommodate a horizontal card. I stamped the elephant in Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colored it with Copic markers. Then I cut it out with a Spellbinders classic circle and sponged around the inside with blue ink. The patterned papers are from the MME Lime Twist Fly a Kite 6x6 pad and they work perfectly with circus images! The cardstock colors I used are Intense Teal, Classic Red, and Choice Snow White. I finished it off with the circular 'Happy Birthday' sentiment in the top corner.

Thanks so much for stopping by today! I hope you all have a wonderful day!

Beach Belle & BFTP Reminder

Good morning and Happy Monday! I hope you all had a great weekend and you're feeling ready to tackle another week. And if not, go grab an extra cuppa coffee (or can of Mt. Dew in my case) and you'll be ready in no time! *wink* We had a busy weekend with another garage sale, baby furniture shopping, and tying up some loose ends. I also had a little time to stamp this weekend and decided to pull out my Beach Belle petite set and pair it up with supplies from the June Key Ingredients kit. I started by stamping in Memento Tuxedo Black and coloring it with Copics. I used colors from the June KI Copic Kit since they match the paper perfectly! I cut the image out with Spellbinders Classic circle and layered it onto a Spellbinders Lacey Circle. Then I created my own flower embellishment with the paper flowers and brads included in the June kit. And I used the blue Copic to highlight the petals on the blue flower. To finish it off I cut out a wave border, added a strip of polka dot ribbon, and a few Island Lagoon rhinestones. I decided to leave it without a sentiment so I can decide what I want it to be later!

I also have a few reminders today:

1. Hopefully you saw the special offer for new Key Ingredients subscribers that we posted last week! If not, there's still time to sign up for a 6-month subscription and choose a FREE stamp set! You can find all the details HERE.

2. Today is the last day to sign up for the June Blast from the Past blog hop! The blog hop is a fun way to get together with fellow TE lovers and get lots of inspiration for stamp sets we've released in the past. This month's hop theme is red, white, and blue. So all you have to do is make a card using a red, white, and blue color combo and TE Stamps. The hop is this Thursday, June 23rd and you can find all the signup details HERE.

Thanks for stopping by today! I hope you all have a wonderful day!

Taylored Expressions June Sneaks - Day 3

Good morning and welcome to our third and final day of sneak peeks for the June release! Yep, that means that all of the new goodies the Baker's Dozen and I have been sharing during the last three days will be available tomorrow! But first, I better get to the goodies I have to share today! Since each month passes so quickly lately, that means the 4th of July will be here before we know it and I already have two cards made! And lots of you have been wondering about the adorable cow from the sneak peek we shared in our newsletter a few weeks ago. Today is the day to share sweet Bessie and the rest of her farm friends! So I guess I better stop chatting and get started!

Don't forget to check out our June Release details below for everything you need to know about this month's release, including how you can win a gift certificate to the TE Store!

June Release At a Glance

  • Join us as a fan on Facebook for an early peek at the stamp sets on Thursday night beginning at approximately 6 pm PST.
  • Special Early Bird Offer on Release Day for the first 15 orders over $100.  It's TOTALLY SWEET!

Comments close Thursday 6/2 at 7pm PST for the drawings.
The Green Acres stamp set was illustrated by Doug Applegate for the Apple Doodle Ink collection and includes all the farm fun you could ever want...the barn, the adorable animals, the punny sentiments! And if that's not enough farm fun, we also have the coordinating Chicken Wire & Woodgrain impression plate. As I was browsing around yesterday I came across a fabulous tutorial on Splitcoast for a center step card and I decided to try it! I'm not usually a funky fold/technique kind of stamper, but I wanted something special to showcase lots of the images and sentiments from the set. The patterned paper is from the Cosmo Cricket Garden Variety collection. I also incorporated the Cloud Duo die and the Picket Fence die and had soooo much fun putting this together!

Now it just wouldn't be a patriotic summer without a 4th of July Wreath to adorn your door (and your cards in this case!). This set is the fifth wreath released in the concept originally presented by Jami Sibley and illustrated by Nancy McKinney for the Whimsical Wishes collection. This wreath and all of the previous wreaths coordinate with the fabulous Seasonal Wreath die. I started by stamping the wreath in Memento Tuxedo Black ink. I colored it with Copics (R46, B23, and B18 are three great choices for the 4th of July), embellished it with Crystal Stickles, and used a bit of red gingham ribbon to hang the wreath. The white background was embossed with the Stars impression plate and I stamped solid stars in the background with Colorbox Ice Blue ink.

Our Apple Doodle penguin is making another appearance as Uncle Sam! Isn't he cute!? This Petite set includes 5 images and sentiments packaged on a sturdy storage panel with a full-color index. And the rubber stamps are already trimmed and ready to use as soon as they arrive on your doorstep! I decided to start with the Mojo Monday 191 layout. I stamped the image onto Choice Snow White cardstock in Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colored it with the same three 4th of July Copics that I listed above (plus YR12 for the feet and beak). I trimmed the image to fit inside the Spellbinders Lacey Square and rounded the corners with the Corner Chomper. The patterned paper is from the Doodlebug 4th of July collection pack. I added lots of bling to the sparkler with Multi-color Twinkles and finished it off with some star rhinestones from my stash.

Here's the new impression plate:

And last, but certainly not least, our sweet Tiny Chefs are joining us this month! These cuties give me such a smile as they proudly present their projects to the camera. School is out for summer here in Iowa and I'm already hearing from the mom's in our neighborhood that their kids are bored. So it's a perfect time for the Kid's Summer Fun Pack! Each pack contains the following supplies that they can use to create whatever their little heart desires:
  • 5 sheets of 8.5" x 11" cardstock
  • 10 sheets of patterned paper from the We R Memory Keepers Berrylicious collection
  • 10 Choice Snow White image panels
  • 10 white envelopes
  • 1 ring-bound chipboard book (5 pages)
  • 3 yards of ribbon
  • 1 sheet of alphabet and border stickers
  • Assorted round & apple brads
  • Assorted flat fruit slice embellishments
And I saved the best for last... it's only $9.95 for all of these coordinating goodies! The perfect price to let your little one loose to play!

A HUGE thank you to our Tiny Chefs Arwen, Avery, Catie, Harrison, Kaiden, Meredith, Jayanta, and Savannah for taking these supplies and creating fabulous works of art! You all are so creative!

Thanks so much for stopping by today! I hope you'll pop around to our amazing Baker's Dozen blogs to check out all of the eye candy using these fun sets! And if you see a Tiny Chef while you're there, take a sec to encourage their creativity!

Today I'm going to start with my favorite friend made of cake and frosting, Cuppie! Illustrator Jessie Oleson has Cuppie tying the knot in the adorable Sweet Bliss stamp set. The full-size set includes 16 images and sentiments made from deeply etched rubber. The stamps come packaged on a binder ready storage panel and already trimmed and ready to use with an acrylic block. I decided to pair the wedding Cuppie images with patterned paper from the Basic Grey Sweet Threads collection. I stamped the image in Memento Tuxedo Black and colored it with Copic markers. Then I created a scalloped frame for the image and embellished it with liquid pearly dots. I popped up the frame and then finished off the card with the sentiment and floral accent. I also used the medium scallop border die as a split between the two patterns.

Continuing with the wedding theme, Nancy McKinney illustrated the adorable Charlotte & Jack for the Moka Collection. Each character comes as a separate Petite stamp set with an additional 3-4 coordinating sentiments. They can stand alone or you can see they make quite a handsome pair too! I stamped Charlotte & Jack in Memento Rich Cocoa, colored them with Copics, cut them out, and popped them up over the top of a flowery patterned paper. All of the patterned paper on this card is from the MME Lime Twist Happy Go Lucky collection. I think it's perfect for a summer wedding card! I added white embossed detailing to Charlotte's dress along with a glittery veil. To finish it off, I stamped and 'flagged' both sentiments and popped them up on foam tape above and below the happy couple. Then I added a bow of white organdy swirl ribbon.

And last, but not least, Nancy McKinney illustrated the perfect A la Carte stamp to congratulate an engaged friend! I've always wanted a stamp that's specific to engagements and now I have it with the Wow You're Engaged A la Carte! I stamped the image in Memento Tuxedo Black ink and paper pieced the 'w's with a polka dot pattern from the Happy Go Lucky collection. I glittered the ring, covered it with Glossy Accents, and added Crystal Twinkles to each of the facets in the diamond. I also added Glossy Accents over the 'w's and colored the band of the ring with silver paint pen. To embellish the card I used a small chipboard bird from the Love Notes collection and added some bay blue twill.

Thanks so much for stopping by during our second day of sneak peeks! Don't forget to leave some comments as you hop around to see what our fabulous design team has created! You never know...you could be the lucky winner of a gift certificate to the TE Store!

Taylored Expressions June Sneaks - Day 1

Good morning! Well, the calendar doesn't officially say that it's June, but we decided to start a little early with our June sneak peeks today. Speaking of June, can you believe it's almost here!? I think I say that every month, but the months just fly by so quickly these days! We have lots of fun summer stamps and dies to share this week and I can hardly wait to show you! And I want to make special mention of our June Release At a Glance for everything you need to know about this month's release, including how you can win some awesome prizes!

June Release At a Glance
  • We have sneak peeks to share Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.  All of the new products will be available for purchase on Friday, June 3rd at 8 am PST. You'll find it all in the Fresh out of the Oven Department in the Taylored Expressions Store.
  • Join us as a fan on Facebook for an early peek at the stamp sets on Thursday night beginning at approximately 6 pm PST.
  • Special Early Bird Offer on Release Day for the first 15 orders over $100.  It's TOTALLY SWEET!
  • Mystery Baker's Dozen Blog Giveaway: Each day one lucky blog commenter will be chosen by random draw to win a $10 TE Gift Certificate.  Winners will be chosen from a different Baker's Dozen blog each day and all will be announced on Taylor's blog on Release Day!  Be sure to hop around to see all the sneak peeks and leave comments on each and every blog for more chances to win. Limit one comment per blog per day. Comments close Thursday 6/2 at 7pm PST for the drawings.
For my first card I used Moka Lani, the newest addition to this sweet collection of characters illustrated by Nancy McKinney. Isn't she the cutest with her Hawaiian tan and grass skirt? The Petite set includes 5 images and sentiments on a full-color storage panel. I also used two new dies on this card, the Wave Border die and the Palm Tree die. The Palm Tree die was designed to coordinate with the palm tree image in the previously released Hangin' Out at the Beach set and happens to work perfectly with Moka Lani too! I grabbed my new Echo Park Splash patterned papers. I cut the wave border die out of three different patterns and layered them on the bottom of the card with some yellow polka dot ribbon. I also added Crystal Stickles to the wave caps. The white image panel was cut with Spellbinders Labels 17 and airbrushed around the inside with Copic marker. The finished size of the card is 3.5" x 6.

For my second sneak peek project, I used A Day in Paradise, a gorgeous Cape Cod themed stamp set illustrated by Nancy McKinney for the Whimsical Wishes collection. The set includes 21 images and sentiments in a combination of solid and open line images. It'll be great for preserving summer memories,  home decor projects, and even for retirement cards which is what I decided to create. I love the soothing colors in the Cosmo Cricket Salt Air collection and thought they'd be perfect for the card I was envisioning. I started by embossing the sailboat with white embossing powder onto the orange patterned paper (I thought it looked like a sunset!). I trimmed the image with a Spellbinders circle die and then created a frame with a scalloped circle and popped that up over the top. I used the same Wave border die on this card and added the Crystal Stickles to the wave caps as well. I added a bit of scalloped crochet trim from my stash and finished it off with some Island Lagoon rhinestones and the sentiment.

And last (at least for today!) our lovable penguins are back in their adorable summer attire! Today we're sharing two penguin Petite sets, Beach Belle & Surf's Up, illustrated by Doug Applegate for the Apple Doodle Ink collection. The penguins can be used separately or combine them to make a cute beach couple. I stamped the images in Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colored them with Copics to match the Echo Park Splash patterned paper. I cut the penguins out and popped them up on a Spellbinders circle. I airbrushed inside the circle with Copic and then mounted it onto a scalloped circle die cut. As you can see, I had trouble putting down the wave border die and I used it again on this card. I was trying to follow Karen's Sweet Sunday Sketch, but it took a bit of a turn somewhere along the way! Why do my sketch cards always take a turn!?

Here are the dies I used on my cards today:

I'm already looking forward to sharing my projects for tomorrow, but in the meantime join me in hopping around to see what our amazing design team has created. Don't forget to leave comments along the way for a chance to win a gift certificate to the TE Store!

TESC138 - Baby Thank You

Somebody pinch me! Is it really Thursday already!? I've been buried under a mountain of junk treasures this week cleaning out closets and digging in every nook and cranny to get ready for our garage sale in a couple of weeks. It always feels good when the closets are clean, the garage sale is over, and the leftover stuff is packed up and off to Goodwill, but preparing for the event is not my favorite thing!

This morning I took a break from spring cleaning to make another card for the TESC138 Sketch Challenge. There's still time to upload your card using the sketch for a chance to win a gift certificate to the TE Store (you have until tonight at 8pm PST )! You can find all the details along with this week's sketch HERE. That also means that the next sketch challenge will be posted tomorrow morning so I hope you'll come by and check it out!

It's time for me to start building up my 'baby thank you' stash so that's what inspired this card. I'm one of those people who just can't stamp the same card twice so I figured I better start early! And the Welcome Little One stamp set was just too perfect for this sketch. I stamped the three icons in colored ink Memento Rose Bud, Colorbox Lime Pastel, and Versamagic Aquatic Splash. I cut out each of the images, popped them up on a Buttercream panel, and added a little piercing for detail. The patterned papers and cardstock are from the Alphabet Soup Girl Collection. I've had baby on the brain lately so all of my projects using this kit have been baby-themed, but the papers are so much more versatile than just baby! The sentiment is from Branching Out and the little flowers are from my stash. I also used the Corner Chomper to round the corners on all of my pieces as well as the Open Scallop border punch.

Thanks for stopping by today! I hope you all have a wonderful day!

Happy Birthday, Barbara!

Good morning! It must be the week for birthdays! Today I'm joining in a blog hop with friends to celebrate a very sweet and talented lady! I'm sure y'all know Barbara Anders! Happy Birthday, Bar! I hope your day is filled with some rest and relaxation and lots of cake with even more icing! *grin* If you traveled here from Kim's blog, then you're on the right track! Our hop hostess Tammy has the full hop list on her blog in case you missed some along the way. Since Barbara provides such fabulous inspiration on the TE Key Ingredients team I thought it would be fitting to pull out my May Key Ingredients kit to create her birthday card. The layout is one of my simple go-to layouts. I used Spellbinders Labels 17 and sponged inside it with a Angel Pink ink. Then I stamped the stem from Garden Party Party Blooms in Lime Pastel ink and die cut it with the Garden Party Blooms Set 2. I popped up the stem and added one of the flowers from the matching Happy Go Lucky layered chipboard flower pack. The sentiment is from Make a Wish and I added a bit of ribbon and some red rhinestones to finish it off.

Now you can keep right on hopping to the next stop, the fabulous Kirsty McIntyre! And don't forget to stop by and the birthday girl's blog with your happy birthday wishes!

Thanks for stopping by today! I hope you all have a wonderful weekend! We're out of town this weekend, but I'll be back on Monday to share some pictures of the Orange City Tulip Festival!

Happy Birthday, Lori!

Happy Birthday to you! Happy Birthday to you! Happy Birthday dear Lori, Happy Birthday to you! I hope you have a wonderful birthday filled with cowboys and cupcakes! OK... maybe just the cowboys part because I know your willpower with cupcakes is much stronger than mine! *grin*

You deserve the most special and relaxing day of celebration! Thank you for all that you do for me, for your friendship and support as a Christian sister in this journey through life. You're a constant encouragement and whenever I need a smile I can close my eyes and imagine your giggle. It does the trick every time!

Here's the birthday card that I made for Lori! I used the Tweet Hearts stamp set and started by stamping the branch in Memento Rich Cocoa and the leaves in Lime Pastel inks. Then I filled in with the bird and flower stamps. The patterned paper is from the MME Lime Twist Life of the Party collection. I somehow resisted to use the cupcake patterned paper from the collection and decided to go with the flowery pattern instead. I popped the image up over a Spellbinders Lacey Square die cut and embellished it with ribbons and flowers and flower brads from my stash. It's hard to see in the picture, but I also included one of those pretty little butterfly stick pins in the flower. The birthday sentiment is from the Make a Wish stamp set. I hope you like it, Lori! It should be arriving on your doorstep soon! ;)

Thank you all for stopping by today! If you get a chance, head over to Lori's blog or Facebook page and wish her a Happy Birthday!

Taylored Expressions May Sneaks - Day 3

Good morning! It's time for our last day of sneak peeks before all of our new products are available for purchase on Thursday, May 5th at 8am PST! Today's peeks are packed with goodies designed by the creative 'pen' of Nancy McKinney! We have an addition to our popular series of seasonal wreaths concepted by Jami Sibley, a fun 'create your own shopping bag' stamp set and coordinating set of dies, and an introduction to a brand new collection of characters called the Moka's!  I'm gonna keep this short and sweet here at the beginning and get to the goodies!

My first project features the adorable Moka Olivia! So what is Moka? The name came about by combining the names of two of Nancy's favorite people, her daughter Morgana and close friend Katie. Cute, huh? I think it's so fitting and I am totally in love with these sweet girls! I started by stamping Olivia in Memento Rich Cocoa ink and then coloring her with Copics. I also paper pieced her tank with the floral pattern from the Jillibean Soup Blossom collection. I cut out Olivia and popped her up onto a 2" x 3" image panel. This happens to be the perfect size to fit into the slits created by the Frame it Up 2 die that cuts around the Heart Frame A la Carte. After finishing the image panel, the rest of the card came together pretty simply with patterned papers from the Blossom collection, a little ribbon, and the scalloped eyelet border die cut along the bottom.

Next up is sweet Moka Jenn with the adorable baby bump. It's probably no surprise that she reminds me of myself at the moment so I decided to color her hair brown and dress her in an outfit I'd be proud to wear! I started by stamping her in Memento Rich Cocoa ink and colored her with Copics. Her tank is paper pieced with a floral pattern from the My Mind's Eye Stella Rose Gertie collection. This would be a great stamp for a pregnancy congrats card or just to encourage a friend to 'indulge those cravings'! I think my biggest craving at the moment is shopping so it's perfect that she's hiding a little shopping bag behind her back! *wink* I cut the image out with Spellbinders ovals, added the medium scalloped border die cut along the side, and embellished it with Island Lagoon rhinestones and a Little Whimsies Coral Lotus on the sentiment.

All of the new (and future) Moka stamps will be offered in our Petite size with one character and several coordinating sentiments making them a great value at just $7.95 each!

Next up is another concept and design from Nancy McKinney called It's in the Bag! The stamp set was designed to decorate your own shopping bag embellishment, but in order to do that you'll need a mini shopping bag. Well, Taylored Dies to the rescue with a cute 3D shopping bag die complete with label dies. The stamp set was designed in a way that you can choose to create a 3D shopping bag embellishment or stamp the shopping bag flat onto the surface of your card with the handle, fillers, and labels included in the stamp set. When folded, the shopping bag measures approximately 1 1/2" wide x 2" tall x 1/2" thick. I used papers from the My Mind's Eye Stella Rose Gertie collection, stamped the bag pattern in Deep Lagoon chalk ink, added a ribbon handle, and airbrushed a small piece of tissue paper with a matching Copic marker. The ribbon is green apple silk and I finished it off with a few yellow pearls. I can see filling this cute bag with images from past TE stamp sets, using it separately, or even combining it as an embellishment to go with one of the new shopping Moka's!

And last, but not least, we have the latest addition to our seasonal wreath series, the Summer Wreath! Although it's still feeling a little winter-ish around here (we had a frost advisory last night!) it was fun to get out my bright summer colors and pretend I was on a beach in Hawaii! Just as a reminder, our previous wreaths include the Wreath of Love, Wreath of Luck, and Spring Wreath which all coordinate with the Seasonal Wreath die for quick and easy trimming! I stamped the wreath in Memento Rich Cocoa ink and colored it with Copics to match the patterned paper I chose from the Jillibean Soup Blossom collection. Then I cut out the wreath, popped it up on the patterned door, and added some Crystal Twinkles to the flower centers.

Here are all of the dies that I used on today's projects:
